CORRIDOR is een onafhankelijk Brussels filmproductiehuis, opgericht door Kaat Camerlynck, Alex Stockman en Françoise Hoste. Ons doel: atypische en vernieuwende films produceren, auteurs en regisseurs ontdekken en begeleiden.

CORRIDOR est une maison de production de films indépendante établie à Bruxelles et fondée par Kaat Camerlynck, Alex Stockman et Françoise Hoste. Produire des films de qualité, atypiques et novateurs, révéler et accompagner des auteurs et des réalisateurs, voilà notre ambition.

CORRIDOR is an independent Brussels based film production company, founded by Kaat Camerlynck, Alex Stockman and Françoise Hoste. To produce atypical, innovating quality movies, to reveal and accompany autors and directors, that’s our goal.

KAAT CAMERLYNCK

NL Kaat Camerlynck had al een ruime ervaring in theater- en filmproduktie toen ze begon te werken op het redactiesecretariaat van het weekblad Humo. Daar ontmoette ze in 1992 Alex Stockman. Samen richtten ze het Brusselse produktiehuis 404 FILMS op, de voorloper van CORRIDOR die de eerste kortfilms van Stockman produceerde. Behalve Stockmans films produceerde Kaat Camerlynck ook Bruxelles Mon Amour (2000), geregisseerd door Kaat Beels, Peter Vandekerckhove & Marc Didden, de kortfilm Retour (2006) van Nicolas Bruyelle en Any Way the Wind Blows (2003), het langspeelfilmdebuut van Tom Barman. Kaat Camerlynck was ook line-producer van Hombres Complicados van Dominique Deruddere, en van de kortfilms To Speak (Erik Lamens) en BXL Minuit (Dorothée van den Berghe). Ze is ook werkzaam bij Cinematek.

FR Kaat Camerlynck a déjà une longue expérience dans la production de cinéma et de théâtre lorsqu’elle rejoint le secrétariat de rédaction du magazine Humo. C’est là qu’elle fait la connaissance de Alex Stockman en 1992. Ensemble ils fondent 404 FILMS, le précurseur de CORRIDOR qui a produit les premiers court métrages de Stockman. En plus de l’intégrale des films de Alex Stockman, Kaat Camerlynck a produit Bruxelles Mon Amour (2000), réalisé par Kaat Beels, Peter Vandekerckhove & Marc Didden, le court métrage Retour (2006) de Nicolas Bruyelle ainsi que le début de Tom Barman Any Way the Wind Blows (2003). Kaat Camerlynck a travaillé aussi en tant que line producer pour Hombres Complicados de Dominique Deruddere et les courts métrages To Speak (Erik Lamens) et BXL Minuit (Dorothée van den Berghe). Elle travaille également chez Cinematek.

EN Kaat Camerlynck had a longtime experience in theatre- and film production when she started working at the editorial office of Flemish weekly Humo. This is where she met Alex Stockman in 1992. Together they founded 404 FILMS, the predecessor of CORRIDOR that produced Stockman’s first shorts. Besides Alex Stockman’s films, Kaat Camerlynck produced Bruxelles Mon Amour (2000), directed by Kaat Beels, Peter Vandekerckhove & Marc Didden, the short Retour (2006) by Nicolas Bruyelle as well as Tom Barman’s feature film debut Any Way the Wind Blows (2003). Kaat Camerlynck is also line-producer of Hombres Complicados by Dominique Deruddere and of the shorts To Speak (Erik Lamens) and BXL Minuit (Dorothée van den Berghe). She also works at Cinematek.

ALEX STOCKMAN

NL Alex Stockman begon als rock- en filmrecensent voor het weekblad Humo. Zijn eerste langspeelfilm Verboden te zuchten (Le pressentiment) (2000) werd onder andere geselecteerd voor de Tiger Awards competitie van het filmfestival van Rotterdam en het festival Premiers Plans in Angers, en won de Gouden Prometheus op het Tbilisi Film Festival. Zijn kortfilm Eva reste au placard les nuits de pleine lune (2006), naar een novelle van Ivan Alvarez, werd geselecteerd voor het filmfestival van Venetië. Hij schreef en regisseerde ook de kortfilms Violette (1994) en In de vlucht / Histoire d’un jeune homme pressé (1996), dat op het Molodist Film Festival in Kiev werd bekroond met de prijs van de jury. Pulsar (2010) is zijn tweede langspeelfilm. De film ging in première op het festival van Locarno en won de Critic’s Prize op het filmfestival van Hamburg.

His first feature film, Verboden te zuchten (Le pressentiment) (2000), shot in luminous black and white, was selected for the Rotterdam Tiger Awards competition, the Premiers Plans Festival in Angers and won the Golden Prometheus at the Tbilisi Film Festival. His short Eva reste au placard les nuits de pleine lune (2006), based on a novel by Ivan Alvarez, was selected for the Venice Film Festival. He also wrote and directed the shorts Violette (1994) and In de vlucht / Histoire d’un jeune homme pressé (1996) which obtained the jury price at the Molodist Film Festival in Kiev. Pulsar (2010) is his second feature. The film premiered at the Locarno film festival and won the Critic’s Award at the Hamburg international film festival.

FRANÇOISE HOSTE

NL Na talrijke jaren freelance te hebben gewerkt voor verschillende productiehuizen (Transatlantic Films, K2…), creëert Françoise Hoste haar eigen productiestructuur On Move Productions en treedt ze toe tot Corridor. Haar recentste bekroonde en door On Move geproduceerde kortfilms zijn Opale Plage van Marie-Eve de Grave, 26.4 van Nathalie André en Sans lendemain van Valérie Liénardy. Françoise Hoste is ook line-producer en coproducent van verscheidene langspeelfilms, zoals La Vie Sexuelle des Belges en Camping Cosmos van Jan Bucquoy en Van den Heiligen Drieën van Karen Vanderborcht. Met Corridor ontwikkelt ze de eerste langspeelfilm van Nathalie André (Les Rejetons), evenals Liège-Bastogne-Liège van Jan Bucquoy. Françoise Hoste is eveneens de initiatiefneemster en stichter van Cinema Nova in Brussel.

FR Après avoir collaboré pendant de nombreuses années comme freelance pour différentes sociétés (Transatlantic Films, K2…), Françoise Hoste crée sa propre structure de production On Move Productions et est associée à Corridor. Ses derniers court-métrages primés et produits par On Move sont Opale Plage de Marie-Eve de Grave, 26.4 de Nathalie André et Sans lendemain de Valérie Liénardy. En temps que freelance, Françoise Hoste est la productrice et co-productrice de plusieurs long-métrages parmi lesquels La Vie Sexuelle des Belges et Camping Cosmos de Jan Bucquoy et Van den Heiligen Drieën de Karin Vanderborcht. Avec Corridor, elle développe un premier long-métrage de Nathalie André (Les Rejetons), ainsi que Liège-Bastogne-Liège de Jan Bucquoy. Françoise Hoste est également l’initiatrice et fondatrice du Cinéma Nova à Bruxelles.

EN After having worked on a freelance basis for several companies (Transatlantic Films, K2…) Françoise Hoste creates her own production structure called On Move Productions and joins Corridor. Her most recent, prize-winning shorts produced by On Move are Opale Plage by Marie-Eve de Grave, 26.4 by Nathalie André and Sans lendemain by Valérie Liénardy. As a freelancer, Françoise Hoste is the producer and co-producer of several feature films including La Vie Sexuelle des Belges and Camping Cosmos by Jan Bucquoy and Van den Heiligen Drieën by Karin Vanderborcht. With Corridor, she develops the first feature film by Nathalie André (Les Rejetons) as well as Liège-Bastogne-Liège by Jan Bucquoy. Françoise Hoste is also the initiator and founder of Cinema Nova in Brussels.
